Matching colours.

A specific colour scheme was used to harmonize the display surfaces with the works, in order to meet the commissioners’ will to draw the visitors into the intimate world of Edvard Munch. Straw yellow evokes the summers in Nice, and bright blue brings to mind sea bathing in Norway.
